ECHOS Home ‘de Schakel’

You are most welcome in ECHOS Home ‘de Schakel’ in Ermelo. Our soldiers home is nicely located in the green forest of the Northern-Veluwe, by far the most extensive and undisturbed reserve and hiking-and-biking area in Holland. We are situated just in front of the ‘General Spoor barracks’, which accommodates 1.500 soldiers.

We offer hospitality and recreation to soldiers by means of our lounge, where they can watch TV or a film, or they could surf the web, play billiards, darts, table-football, etc.

You too can enjoy our hospitality. Next to recreation we also rent out our meeting halls at a very decent price. So after an intensive meeting you can just walk out into the forest to relax for a moment.
